How to claim the Chip sign-up bonus
Follow these steps only if the provider confirms the invitation and its current terms.
- Open the invitation and enter your email address. Use the same email when you sign up.
- Download Chip by 23:59 on 31 October 2026 and create your account. If you join by code instead, enter CHIP-VMV325 within 14 days of downloading the app.
- Within 120 days, deposit at least £1,000 across eligible accounts: Smart Cash ISA, Instant Access, Prize Savings, General Investment Account or Stocks and Shares ISA. The Chip Pension does not count.
- Keep at least £1,000 in those accounts for 90 consecutive days. The £50 is then paid into your Instant Access Account, or your Prize Savings Account if you do not have one.
Chip sign-up bonus: important conditions
- If your balance drops below £1,000, the 90-day count starts again from zero.
- Only for people who have never held a Chip account, and you must use the same email for the referral page and your sign-up.
- The bonus does not earn interest in the Instant Access Account and does not add prize draw entries in the Prize Savings Account.
