Rent rewards: compare Ribbon, Brick and Rentd
Understand which services reroute rent, which read existing payments, and why reward points and prize draws are different.

Choose the payment setup first
Rent must reach the correct landlord or agent, in full and on time. A referral bonus is secondary to a reliable payment arrangement.
Ribbon: a dedicated rent account
Ribbon Rewards routes rent through a dedicated account and awards points for eligible payments. The public standard rate is 1 point per £1 of rent. Check the current voucher value, processing time and any joining bonus before moving a standing order. Optional credit reporting has separate charges.
Brick: keep the existing payment route
Brick Rewards uses an Open Banking connection to recognise rent from your bank account. You continue paying your landlord normally. Review data access and reward restrictions; a recognised payment or referral code does not guarantee a fixed cash return.
Rentd: check the spending tier
Rentd is another rent-rewards option described in the earlier comparison. Its current tier thresholds, fees and returns have not been independently confirmed here. Read the provider’s terms before opening an account or routing rent through it. Do not add unnecessary card spending to reach a tier.
Can you combine services?
Different services can monitor or process different parts of a payment, but we do not guarantee that both recognise the same rent. Check each service’s rules and confirm the landlord receives the payment.
Prize draws are separate
The SpareRoom rent draw and any Brick points-funded draw are chances to win, not predictable rent savings. Check the current entry period, prize and redemption conditions before entering.
Ribbon and Brick’s public programme information checked 18 October 2026. Rentd and current draw terms still need checking.
