How to claim the offer
Follow these steps only if the provider confirms the invitation and its current terms.
- Open the referral invitation and get a quote.
- Compare the tariff, standing charges and any exit fees with your current supply.
- Ask Octopus to confirm referral eligibility before completing a switch.
- For an eligible referral, credit follows the start of supply and first Direct Debit.
Important conditions
- Credit is applied to the energy account, not paid as cash.
- Existing customers, certain previous customers and retrospective referrals are excluded.
- Octopus may reject personal links advertised to strangers or for commercial purposes. Confirm this invitation with Octopus before relying on the credit.
- The standard £100 referral reward is split £50 each unless the split is changed.
